What is Easy Finnish? 

Imagine Easy Finnish as a new and simpler variation of the language, created specifically for learning purposes. In the same way that Written Finnish and Spoken Finnish are different, we are introducing you to Easy Finnish—which is much easier, yet still representative of the language.

Easy Finnish essentially removes the difficult rules of Finnish grammar that don't change the meaning of a sentence, but are hard to understand and apply.

To speak "perfect" Finnish, you have to pay attention to many rules that change the shape of words without changing their meaning. For example, "auto" or "autoa" both translate to "car," but to speak perfectly, you must know when to use one or the other. However, you can still communicate by using only "auto" and ignoring "autoa" completely.

Although you won't speak perfectly in the beginning, the goal of Easy Finnish is not perfection, but to get you moving quickly without getting stuck. The result? You will feel like you are improving faster compared to other methods, and that is what matters most when you are a beginner.
